On September 30th, BlueBRIDGE presented at the "SME Dynamics Workshop" at the Digital Infrastructures for Research conference in Krakow, Poland. BlueBRIDGE Business Development Manager Nadia Nardi represented BlueBRIDGE as a panelist at the event.

This session, which started at 9 am (Venue 2 Room 2.41), covered the following specific objectives :

  • How to stimulate the innovation potential of SMEs and other innovative actors:
    • By enabling access to a wide portfolio of e-Infrastructure services (ideally in a single co-ordinated way)
    • Through direct involvement in the design, planning and operations of e-infrastructure services. 
  • How to establish and develop a new innovation ecosystem of mutual benefit which builds durable and active links between the largest e-infrastructures (and later other e-infrastructure projects) and the main actors in the innovation chain.
  • How to raise the visibility of e-infrastructures to all stakeholders in the innovation chain.
  • How to develop new business:
    • Inspiring new business and market take-up (e.g. Big Data)
    • Creating a wider Innovation community adding researchers, web-entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs, investors and corporates from different sectors and geographies
    • Exposing startups/SMEs to new markets, cultures and business opportunities.
