The lack of digital skills, and data literacy in particular, is an evident issue in EU markets. European Commission is proactively engaging with entrepreneurs, decision-makers, and educators to act now to secure the EU leadership in the digital economy. One of these efforts is represented by a 2-year EU H2020 project – EDISON.
The purpose of the research is to accelerate the process of establishing the profession of Data Scientist by identifying skills and competences required for the emerging Data Science professions.

If you are:

  • A scientist looking for improving your career path;
  • A student looking for tailoring your studies;
  • A researcher looking for formal recognition of your competences and experiences;
  • An educator looking for new topics for your courses;
  • An HR managers looking for clearly defined competences that  candidates need to have;

…then use this survey to provide your point of view, needs and perspective!
Helping the EDISON team with this survey will accelerate the creation of concrete and factual tools that will facilitate the definition of the Data Science Profession.

The survey will be open until 22 January 2017.
Data collected will be anonymised and used according to the European data privacy regulations.
